Where is the land located?

The Landicity Maine Island Challenge -- the island is located in 'DownEast' Maine, Pleasant Bay between Milbridge, Maine and S. Addison, Maine. It is a large island in the bay, about 3/4 mile offshore and is currently undeveloped.

   It is about a five hour drive north of Boston. It is not a metropolis, has zero human population but is heavily inhabited by bugs, rodents, black flies, mosquitoes, no-see-ums, skunk, raccoon, maybe deer, no moose yet and hundreds of birds including an occasional bald eagle or osprey (never both since they can be mortal enemies and the eagle usually wins).
